David is a research practitioner/manager. In addition to his role as Managing Director of Phoenix Research, David's responsibilities are essentially the design of market and social research studies and surveys, and consultation with clients on the application of research findings.

He is a Fellow of the New Zealand Market Research Society, a life member of the New Zealand Psychological Society and a member of the New Zealand Statistical Association.
